The Northamptonshire Police Chief Constable, Nick Adderley has announced that over the next three years, Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) will be a Matter of Priority. The Force will invest extra resources, create fresh approaches and will work closely with all communities to make the most positive difference.
The Force said, ‘we want all women and girls who live, work, socialise or study in Northamptonshire to not only be safe, but feel safe, whether that is in public spaces, at home or online. Women and girls should be able to live confidently, without feeling frightened, intimidated, or harassed.
