HOW TO GET HELP

If something’s happened to you or someone you know, or you fear something might happen, please reach out. Below is contact information for local help providers and national helplines.

If a life is in danger or a crime is taking place, then that is an emergency and you should call the Police on 999.
In all other situations, click here for non-emergency services that the Northamptonshire Police provide for you to contact
them.

Provides women and girls with a safe space to help them feel safe and secure following abuse or assault. Their all-female team is well trained in
providing people with the help and support you may need. Their services also extend to offering support to male victims.
It doesn’t matter whether it happened last night or decades ago, Northamptonshire Rape Crisis is there to support you through recovery, and can provide long-term counselling to help you.

Is a free, confidential support service for anyone affected by crime including domestic abuse, road trauma, and fire incidents. Their services are available across Northamptonshire, and it doesn’t matter when or where the crime happened, or whether it was reported. Voice’s aim is to help you cope, recover and thrive.

Is an organisation dedicated to supporting the victims and survivors of domestic abuse. They offer support to people of all genders, sexual orientations, religions, ethnicities, and socio-economic statuses. NDAS offers one-to-one sessions tailored to individual needs, and offers refuse housing across Northamptonshire for both individuals and families.

Works to help victims become victors, helping them find healing and restoration to become active members of their communities again. Their services include refuge for women and children fleeing domestic abuse, support for women and families living in their own accommodation, long-term rehabilitation and recovery, occupational therapy, and more.

Supports men, women, and children who have been victims of sexual assault. They’re available 24 hours per day, 365 days every year. The service is run from professional, secure premises owned and maintained by Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
