The Knife Angel visited Northamptonshire as part of a nationwide tour aimed at raising awareness of the devastating impact knife crime can have and as a memorial to those people whose lives have been affected by knife crime. Made from 100,000 knives and standing 27-foot tall, the imposing statue has been brought to Northamptonshire thanks to funding from Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, Stephen Mold and in partnership with local charity C2C Social Action, West Northamptonshire Council and North Northamptonshire Council.
The knife angel was on display in Northampton and Corby with a brief stop in Wellingborough from the 29th of April till 30th May.
